🐶Exciting news!🐱

Friends of Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter is moving forward and beginning the process to build our own forever home.  This has been in the planning stages for  many years. Now we have a location, a design, and floor plans -- and we are in the Quiet Phase of our capital campaign, reaching out to those who are on our donor or adopter lists.

As someone who shares our love of animals and has supported us in the past, or someone just learning about our shelter,  we would like to invite you to an exclusive preview of these plans and to share how this new facility will bring so many benefits to both the animals entrusted into our care and to the community. If it has been a while since you checked in with us, you will be glad to see we are still doing phenomenal work under challenging circumstances.  But the Friends’ Board of Directors knows we owe our animal community a larger, modern facility.

To learn more about the new shelter and ways you can support us, please fill out your contact information and a shelter representative will reach out to you.
